Taurus T. Bartlett, also known as Polo G in the United States, is a writer and rapper. Pop Out was his best known song. Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot as he is often referred to from Chicago Illinois started to gain recognition after releasing tracks on YouTube. Initial releases included The Come Up and "Never Cared" and he then made his SoundCloud d but with the mixtape "OFFICIAL POLOG SOUND CLOUD". Gang With Me became his debut number one hit single. It was later followed by Finer Thing. The latter was written while he was in prison. The song became the first single to break through and accumulated thousands of viewers on YouTube and brought him into limelight. In the following days, major record companies started showing interest in his music. Pop Out with Lil Tjay was the first single to be released under Columbia Records' distribution contract. It was viewed hundreds of millions of times on YouTube as well as reaching number 22 in the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time that Polo G charted an entire song. Polo G was a YouTube sensation and gained a good amount of popularity through other social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
